The final stretch of the year has been packed. It is often the case that work piles up as the calendar runs out. This season brought a good mix of teaching and shooting.
Teaching at Rosehill; Running the Beginners Photography Course at Rosehill was a highlight. Teaching fundamental skills requires you to slow down and explain the mechanics of the camera clearly. It was good to see the group move away from auto settings and start making deliberate creative choices.
Property Photography; I also completed several property shoots recently. Architectural work demands precision. You have to focus on straight lines, light balance, and composition to show a space at its best. It is a technical shift from other types of photography but effective when done right.
Portraits; Finally, there have been lots of pictures of people. Whether for corporate headshots or personal projects, capturing a genuine expression is always the goal. It has been a great period for portraiture!
If you’d like to use me to take photos for you, please get in touch!
I can’t share photos from all of the shoots unfortunately.
