A string of property photos!
August was a busy month for property photos. I was asked to capture several homes, which included professional photography, a video walkthrough, and a Matterport 3D virtual tour.
If you haven’t seen what these services can do for your own property, they’re a fantastic way to showcase your home or rental listing. High-quality photos highlight the best features, a real estate video tour helps buyers and tenants understand the flow of the space, and a Matterport 3D tour lets people explore every room at their own pace.
With more buyers and renters expecting to see properties online before arranging a viewing, these tools are becoming essential. Professional property photography and virtual tours not only help listings stand out but also attract more serious enquiries.
If you’re in West Cumbria and looking to sell or let your property, now’s the perfect time to invest in professional photos, video, or a 3D virtual tour to present your space at its very best.

The Rum Story, Whitehaven
I recently had the pleasure of doing a publicity photoshoot at The Rum Story in Whitehaven, a truly unique and informative attraction. Housed in the original 1785 trading premises of the Jefferson family, this museum takes you on a fascinating journey into the captivating history of rum, from its origins in the Caribbean and ties to the transatlantic slave trade, reflecting Whitehaven’s significant historical role. The exhibition thoughtfully explores this often difficult past, alongside tales of pirates, smugglers, and the journey of rum through the ages.
Here are some photos from that shoot.
Polished Property Photos: It’s All in the Edit
I just wrapped up a recent property photography assignment. Capturing great shots on location is step one, but the work continues in the editing. I spent a lot of time removing ugly distractions – including a shopping cart! All this can detract from the overall appeal and it is attention to detail that helps deliver what the client needs.
If you need high-quality, meticulously edited photos for your property listing, get in touch!
Here are just a couple of the exterior.
Break a leg, Andy!
Thrilled to have worked with Andy on his headshots! He’s pursuing auditions across the country. A strong headshot is key when casting directors haven’t met you, so I made sure these did the job without being overbearing by using a neutral backdrop with even lighting.
I wish Andy all the best as he sends these out nationwide!
